If you are a SONGWRITER (lyrics or music) then you should register with a public performance society, IF AND ONLY IF, your music is being performed publicly in a medium such as on or in RADIO, TV, FILM, or the GRAND STAGE (Broadway) which is monitored by the performance societies. Otherwise, please DO NOT register with them as their services relate only to those monitored works. If you have no publisher then you may self-publish your music and register 100% of the composition.

If you are a PUBLISHER then you should also register with a public performance society, IF AND ONLY IF, your administrered music is being performed publicly in a medium such as on or in RADIO, TV, FILM, or the GRAND STAGE (Broadway) which is monitored by the performance societies. Otherwise please do not register with them as their services relate only to those monitored works.
